Los Cerritos Grand Opening Gala

It's a sunny Friday morning and I arrive to the Grand Opening of Nordstrom at Los Cerritos Center @ 9:00am about an hour and half before the actual store opening and already crowds are gathered taking full advantage of pre-opening freebies.  Demos, makeovers, and dance beats from DJ Justin Smith are simultaneously occurring in the space outside the newly revamped store's heavily guarded entrance.  I observe many excited patrons prancing around with goody bags and single stemmed sunflowers clutched in their arms.  I'm really diggin' the energy and begin to make my way around.  Here are some highlights of the event:

Overall, I commend everyones efforts in making this opening a fun and exciting one.  There were crowds, but not a surprise at grand openings.  Thanks to a lot of inticing products, helpful staff, great freebies, and beautiful people, this event did not disappoint.  Here are insights from others:
