The "it" girls of the fashion blogging world have officially made their mark after collaborating with Coach for a limited collection of handbags.  Bloggers Cupcakes and Cashmere (bag: Emily Satchel), The Glamouri (bag: Kelly's Drawstring Pouch), What is Reality Anyway? (bag: Krystal's Fringe Shoulder bag), and Karla's Closet (bag: Karla's Clutch) have designed 4 different and distinct purses that reflect their personal style.  Good on you girls!

I'm pretty sure everyone else, like myself, were starting to get bored with Coach and their mediocre collections lately.  Thank goodness someone over there at Coach's headquarters came up with an ingenious idea to have stylish and pretty reknowned fashion bloggers come save them from the deep waters of drabbery.  Kudos to whoever that brain was.

I know that was kind of harsh, but I pretty much just said what everyone else was starting to think...was.  Now, I am a Coach fan re-born.  It was becoming some time since Coach attempted to re-invent the label, and I believe that time has finally approached.  Thank you Coach for giving us blogger chicks a chance to showcase our talents.  We wouldn't be doing this if we weren't passionate about it.  Now, just a question..."When am I going to get a call?"

Going Ga Ga on Glee!

So we were all in for a treat last night, when the wonderful cast of Glee took on Lady Ga Ga.  I mean those are literally some big shoes to fill.  The costumes were hilarious and great, but I wished the show ended with a more upbeat song like "Telephone" or "Just Dance."  Let me explain...

If you watched the show last night, you will know that there was silence and animosity between a couple of characters on the show.  I think it would have been fitting and hilarious to have them break out into "Telephone."  Then in the end when of course things get resolved, they can break out into a care-free rendition of "Just Dance."  I thought Rachel and her "Mom's" version of "Poker Face" was nice, but not as the ending performance.  I mean it's Ga Ga!  Go big or go home!

Joe Koenig: The Soul of Texas

Joe is a friend of mine that I met when he performed a show few years back in the garage of my old flat in San Francisco.  This guy has a rich-hearty voice that would soothe any soul like a bowl of mother's best.  It has been a while since I got to see him, and just recently I was excited to see this old friend again on the road for his tour at Costa Mesa, Ca this past Saturday.  He sang a few new ones, but also graced myself and the crowd with some older favorites.  Check out Joe here
